Steve Simmons

After 20 years based in Melbourne and Sydney and performing all over the globe, Steve Simmons returned permanently to Perth in 2018.

Having written and sung on 2 Australian Country #1 singles (& 7 top 40 singles) with his band Deep Creek Road, Steve has performed at some of Australia’s biggest festivals and events, as well as performances in 12 other countries. He has written music for major U.S TV Networks and won numerous awards both as a singer and actor.

Since returning to Perth Steve has starred as Professor Callahan in 2 sellout seasons of ‘Legally Blonde the musical’ at Crown Theatre as well as playing supports for artists like Paul Kelly at Freo Prison and The Red Hot Summer Tour at Sandalford Winery (supporting Mark Seymour, Bernard Fanning, Missy Higgins, Ian Moss & Paul Kelly). Steve performs solo as well as with popular local duo ‘Crossfire,’ and band ‘Radio Now.’
