46 Brigade

Lyrically narrative and melodically engaging, '46 Brigade' is an indie pop/rock outfit from Perth, Western Australia.

Structured predominantly around the songs of singer/songwriter Craig Ballantyne, 46 Brigade is a triple threat with the songs, passion and energy to appeal to a large demographic of music fans.

The band has released two full length albums and a 6 track EP to date, with a brand new album also scheduled for release later in 2024.
'Reverse the Future' (2013), 'Into the Great Unknown' (2020), and Against the Tide EP (2022) all received glowing reviews from their peers - 'Around the Sound' media magazine nominating ‘Into the Great Unknown’ as one of the top 5WA album releases of 2020.

At the 2022 WAM-West Australian Music Awards, 46 Brigade was nominated in the People’s Choice Category. As part of the WA Music Month, 46 Brigade was also asked to perform at WAMFest 2022, a festival featuring the cream of the WA contemporary music scene.

The band has been invited on to some other high-profile bills including By The C 2023 alongside ICEHOUSE, Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe and Sneaky Sound System. Other support spots include, Jon Stevens,1927 and The Superjesus.46 Brigade were honoured to be asked to perform their song 'Soldier' at the annual Fremantle Dockers Anzac Day AFL commemorative match in 2013 in front of a crowd of around 40,000 people at Patersons Stadium in Perth, WA. More recently they also appeared in support of Telethon 2023 as a part of the WA Original music showcase hosted by Blake Williams.
