"
As a performer and presenter, Joel Jackson has wowed the likes of Premier Mark McGowan, ex minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop, mining magnate Andrew Forrest, the Governor of Western Australia and many more for three years as host and performer at the Western Australian of the Year Awards, in 2019, 2018 and 2016. Joel was one of few WA Day Ambassadors which saw him perform at both the Western Australian of the Year Awards Gala and at the Elizabeth Quay MainStage before igniting the fireworks that would celebrate the climax of the weekend’s celebration of this great state. Joel’s pride as a West Australian has shone through in more ways than one. Yes, as an award winning actor he has performed on every national television broadcaster in the country, but as a humanitarian Joel’s tireless efforts speak to the wonderful asset he is to this state.”
"
On New Year’s Eve, Joel was an absolute delight and his involvement as MC elevated the Albany New Year’s Eve event to a new level of professionalism. Joel was highly entertaining, keeping the crowd of 22,000 informed and engaged throughout the evening. Joel was able to deliver sponsor messages in a natural and entertaining manner that ensured not only was our audience amused and had good sponsor recall at the end of our event, but our sponsors were very pleased with the coverage that they received. I cannot recommend Joel more highly to any rganisation seeking a professional, entertaining and charismatic MC and musician. He is very easy to work with and provides the highest level of service, with nothing being too much trouble. With thirty years experience in organising events, I can easily say that Joel is by far the most professional, well prepared and accommodating MC and entertainer I have ever engaged.”
